We are pleased to announce that the McCarthy's group are
the first salon group to be almost entirely state registered in
Wales.
In full support of Shirley Davis-Fox, a member of the
Hairdressing Council and WorldSkills Ambassador for hairdressing in
Wales, campaign to get all Welsh hairdressers registered McCarthy's
have rallied the troops and now the majority of the McCarthy's team
are state registered.
Mrs Davis-Fox is delighted that McCarthy's recognises the value
of state regisration and Philip McCarthy is more than happy to
oblige.
"At McCarthy's we believe in putting our clients first. That for
me covers all aspects of our services - right the way down to our
technical abilities, such as colouring and treating hair.
When we perform these skills we are required to use strong
chemicals and irritants such as peroxide ad I think that our
clients need to feel safe in our hands when we are using these
on their hair and scalp.
This is he reason that I decided to fully support Shirley
Davis-Fox's campaign and encourage my team at McCarthy's to become
state registered hairdressers.
Our clients can now feel safe in the knowledge that the
professional who is carrying out their colour or treatment is fully
aware of the chemicals that they are using and have been given the
correct training required to be working as a hairdressing at one of
McCarthy's salons.
I think that Shirley Davis-Fox is fantastic to be working so
hard on this campaign and McCarthy's are very proud to be leading
the way as the first salon group in Wales to be mostly state
registered."
